The Ark has been serving families in the

Walla Walla Valley for over 40 years. 

The Ark, formerly known as Noah’s Ark Day School, is a Christian-based child care center

that operates as a ministry of Blue Mountain Community Church.

Our purpose: to serve children and families while honoring Christ.

Toddler classroom is for children ages 12 months to 2.5 years.

Otter classroom is for children 2.5 years to 4 years old and fully potty trained.

Panda classroom is for children 4-5 years old. This class is specifically designed to prepare the child for Kindergarten, both academically and socially.

Tigers classroom is for children in grades K-2.

Cheetah classroom for children grades 3-5.

All classes are available year round including summer and holiday breaks.

Transportation is provided, at no extra cost, to and from the public schools.

We offer Breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack at no additional charge.

We accept state subsidies for parents who receive assistance with child care.

Our center has playgrounds equipped with play structures and grass area for all ages.

Children are introduced to God's love and character in weekly chapel lessons in their classroom.

We emphasize and teach Christian values such as kindness, forgiveness and patience. 

We operate on a non-discriminatory basis affording equal treatment and access without regard to race, sex, nationality, religion or disability.  

We have an open door policy. Parents are welcome to drop in unannounced to visit their child any time during the day.
